This year's ride began on March 20th, 2009 in Trego, Montana.  She will head west to Washington, then travel south to Texas, then up the Appalachian and Adirondack Mountains, and into Canada before heading back to Montana. Click on map to enlarge it.

28th April 2009 - The Long Riders' Guild received the following message from Bernice:

I always feel that if I make if through the first 3 weeks I'll be OK.  Now into the ride a month and all are well and now have free range of grass, full bellies and warm weather. But I am at a private home so emails are short, just wanted to touch bases and let you know we are fine.
