The Long Riders' Guild

In Genuine Cowgirl Fashion

The first woman to ride “ocean to ocean” across the United States was Two Gun Nan Aspinwall. Mounted on her Thoroughbred mare, Lady Ellen, the duo set off in 1910.
The book, In Genuine Cowgirl Fashion, recounts how Nan rode 7,400 kilometres (4,500 miles) from San Francisco to New York.
