Red’s Ride from Columbia to Peru by Marc Noonan |
In 2015 Marc Noonan rode his gelding, Red, 3,000 miles across Colombia, through Ecuador and on to the border of Peru. Marc did not use GPS, preferring instead to rely on a traditional compass and maps. By interviewing local inhabitants, he was able to obtain the names of places which are otherwise not marked on maps. He wrote “As a result I have a very comprehensive version of the route and can share details with other Long Riders.”
