The Long Riders' Guild

Spanish Pilgrimage

Louella and Robin Hanbury-Tenison are Founding Members of the Long Riders’ Guild. They began their equestrian adventures in 1984 when they rode across France. Next they rode along China's Great Wall in 1986 and in 1988 they rode across both islands of New Zealand.

The Hanbury-Tenisons followed the traditional pilgrimage route across Spain in 1989.

In his book, Spanish Pilgrimage, Robin recounted how he and Louella rode to the ancient cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
